instruments to defend them. The approach to these issues is multidisciplinary.
Democratic institutions are analysed according to constitutional law.

Thought and Communication: The
programme studies the relationship between political thought and political
communication from Homer’s times to the contemporary age, with particular
reference to the new South-American socio-political movements and Islamic
political theories.
History,
Policies, Languages of International Relations: the
programme centres on the development of the migratory phenomenon from the
end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st century;
the integration and internationalisation processes in the relations among
different ethnic groups; cultural changes; comparative analysis of the
juridical systems of migratory phenomenon in European and non-European
countries.
